Mark Doxtader is owner and baker at Tastebud, a Portland operation that began as a farm and evolved into the go-to place for wood fired pizza, Montreal style bagels and inventive salads at farmers markets, local events and a new brick and mortar in Multnomah Village. Mark began working with food as a baker in the 90's, transitioned to life on the farm in 2000, then combined the two talents at the hearth of his hand-built, mobile, wood fired brick oven in 2001. Since then, Doxtader has been working as a proponent of keeping local agriculture a strong and growing industry. By offering a catering and farmers market menu that reflects what is in season in the Pacific Northwest. Doxtader helps to generate the same approach by his customers and contemporaries alike.
